The Missouri House Democrats are committed to ensuring visitors with disabilities have the same quality of access to all the information on our website as non-disabled visitors. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying updates to meet or exceed accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Missouri House Democrats website is conformant with WCAG Level AA per standards outlined by Section 508 in 161.935 RSMo regarding assistive technology.

Limitations to WCAG Level AA conformance on the Missouri House Democrats website are listed below.

Limitations

• On the Missouri House Democrats website homepage, the interactive district and candidate map is not fully WCAG Level AA conformant. However, users may access the "View All Candidates" and "View All Districts" link to obtain all map data and information.
• The Missouri House Democrats website homepage features a third-party social media feed tool called Juicer. Juicer is not fully WCAG Level AA conformant. No action can be taken on the part of the Missouri House Democrats to make this tool fully compliant.
